"Harnessing Britain's young intellect and talent in selfless service to help build
a successful future for all.
We believe that, by creating the right environment, young people learn best
from each other"
We provide educational activities for the needs of children and young people
that cannot be met by mainstream education;
We tailor activities to their particular needs;
We provide one-to-one study/befriending support in our Learning Hubs;
We can do this because we engage the intellect of other young people,
whom we train to become tutor/befrienders or to run clubs and workshops based on their particular skill or talent;
Our Aims:
We aim to set up more S4A Learning Hubs run by peer tutors/mentors in schools, libraries, community, youth or business centres;
We aim to create more diverse and accredited volunteering opportunities;
We aim to work in partnership with schools, libraries, community, youth or business centres in Europe and Africa to set up S4A Learning Hubs.
