Young Writers Club is the perfect opportunity for your child to develop their English writing skills, a skill that is of utmost importance to be able to prove their intelligence on paper! Whether your child loves to write, or struggles with English, Young Writers Club will give them the chance to work one to one with a student volunteer to become more confident in writing.
Your child will brainstorm ideas, characters and plots with the student who will then help them order their ideas into a story.
When your child has finished writing their story, we will type them up and publish a book of stories which will then hand out during a celebration ceremony.
If your child is also interested in drawing, we run a Manga Cartoon Club alongside Young Writers Club, where the children can draw pictures to accompany their story.
Young Writers Club is open to children aged 8-13 and is held every Wednesday from 5.30-7pm at Millin Centre, Benwell
A contribution of £1.50 is appreciated to cover the cost of volunteer expenses.
If you would like your child to join, please complete a registration form and email it to us at info@success4all.org.uk
